Lineage: Skywalker OG Strain
Our Skywalker OG line is a Blueberry x Mazar cross that sits close to balanced at roughly 45% indica and 55% sativa, testing around 21% THC. It carries the berry sweetness of the Blueberry side over the resinous, hashy backbone that Mazar is known for.
Expect a berry, pine and sweetly spicy profile led by myrcene, caryophyllene and limonene: fruit-forward rather than the fuel-and-diesel character some OG-named plants carry.
The effect is focused, happy and relaxed. The near-even indica/sativa split is what keeps it functional: relaxing without being sedative, so it works through the day as well as the evening.
Growing Skywalker OG
A resinous, robust plant that flowers in about 8-10 weeks and rewards growers with dense, trichome-heavy buds indoors or out. Expect around 400-450 g/m2 indoors and 600-700 g/plant outdoors, with plants reaching roughly 150 cm.
We rate this one beginner friendly, and that is not a throwaway line. It germinates reliably, it tolerates feeding mistakes better than most, and at 150 cm it fits a standard tent without heavy training.
The Mazar influence means it produces serious resin, so keep airflow moving through the canopy in the back half of flower. Dense, sticky buds and still, damp air are how mould problems start.
Outdoor plants can reach the upper end of that yield range in a warm season with room for the roots.
Is Skywalker OG right for your grow?
Choose it if you want a berry-forward, resinous plant that stays manageable in height and does not demand experience. It is one of the more forgiving cultivars we carry, and a sensible first or second grow.
If you want a heavy, sedative evening indica, our LA Confidential and Bubba Kush lines are the better fit. If you want fuel and diesel rather than berry, look at Sour Diesel.
