Lineage: Amnesia Haze Strain
Amnesia Haze is an award-winning sativa-dominant hybrid built from South Asian and Jamaican landrace sativas crossed with an Afghani indica, famous for a soaring, energetic, creative high.
The strain built its reputation at the High Times Cannabis Cup, where Soma’s original Amnesia Haze took the 2004 Cup and won the sativa category again in 2012. It has stayed on serious grow lists ever since, because very little else finishes with the same combination of citrus brightness and clear-headed lift.
At 18-22% THC, it carries a bright citrus-and-lemon aroma over earthy, peppery notes, led by terpinolene, myrcene, and limonene.
Growing Amnesia Haze
Tall and vigorous (2 m+ outdoors) with a longer 9-11 week flowering time typical of haze genetics. Yields 600-650 g/m2 indoors and 700-900 g/plant outdoors. Best suited to growers with some experience.
The flowering time is the part to plan around. Haze genetics fill out late, and growers who pull at week nine because the calendar says so leave weight and most of the terpene development behind. Give it the full run.
It responds well to training. Topping early and keeping an even canopy stops the main cola outrunning the rest of the plant, which matters with something this stretchy. Indoors, settle your vertical space before you flip: 2 m+ outdoors is not an exaggeration.
Feed it moderately. Haze lines tolerate heavy nitrogen less well than most modern hybrids, and pushing it hard gives you leaf instead of flower.
Is Amnesia Haze right for your grow?
Choose it if you have a few runs behind you and you want a true sativa rather than an indica-dominant hybrid sold as one. The 9-11 week flower and the height both ask something of you, and the payoff is a genuine Haze.
If you would rather have something faster and more forgiving, our autoflower range will suit you better.
